On September 22 at noon, the Project Management Success Team met to discuss how Lean Six Sigma tools can strengthen projects in a government setting. The conversation focused on SIPOC—Suppliers, Inputs, Processes, Outputs, and Customers—and process value stream mapping as practical ways to clarify project scope, identify stakeholders, visualize workflows, and uncover opportunities to reduce delays and improve value. The team plans to continue this conversation at its next meeting on December 1, at 12:00 p.m. The adjusted date accommodates the Thanksgiving holiday and gives participants an opportunity to further explore how these tools can support efficient, transparent, and customer-focused government project delivery.
